RED SEA HOLIDAYS LAST DAY

For the last two weeks my world was in Hurghada/Egypt at the Red Sea. We only went out once to Hurghada center otherwise we spent the whole day at the beach and afternoons and evenings when it got dark already at around 4 pm in the Hotel lounge.

Swimming in the sea

or in the pool (I never did)

Watching the animation team dancing

Overlook on the beach

and Hourghada from far

Diver's boats, they went away early mornings.

and of course we also spoiled ourselves, Nicole had a hair cut, manicure and pedicure and I only pedicure. They were such a funny couple that we laughed all the time and joked with them. But they did a very good job ! Nicole taught the girl a French love song which started with "Mustafa, oh Mustafa" and she wanted to learn it because her husband's name was Mustafa ! She learned it very quickly !

Evenings in the lounge

and our luggages besides the huge Christmas tree ! and then off to the airport.

  1. It looks very relaxing but I am surprised that it gets dark there at 4pm. Clearly I don't know much about the area.

  3. Oh pampering by sunbathing, beauty treatments and enjoying cocktail hour is what it's all about! Like Andrew, I also didn't know it gets dark so early in Egypt... I hope you're settled in at home by now and Arthur welcomed you back with open paws!

  8. It's always a great time to get away before Christmas, I hope you have come back refreshed and ready to take on Christmas! Certainly being back in Europe, the cold will make it feel a lot like Christmas!
The beach looks so well set up with Umbrellas, loungers and windbreaks

  9. It looks like you had wonderful weather. it's still warm here too but it rained today. The nights are cool though. Last Friday we left a party at midnight and while I waited for my husband to bring the car around (I didn't feel like walking in heels) I almost froze.
